My Local Training Route

A Short loop around some of the nice parts of south solihull, there are some great bridleways and forest sections on this ride, starts and finishes at catherine-d-barnes.

Route

Start from the boat Inn Catherine-de-barnes.
Leave car park turn left, then first left down small lane, keep going over
 canal, though ford, under M42 motorway,   then turn left. Go on for about
 1 mile until T-junction (1), go right then first left towards  barston. 
Straight though barston until crossroads(2), turn right and follow road until
 T junction(3). 
 Turn right then first imediate left down small lane.
 Follow lane all the way to end, T-junction.  Turn left (4).  
Follow road and take the first turn on the right, then follow this road all the
 way to chadwick  end, Main Warwick road(5) . Turn left down Warwick road
 , go though Chadwick end, about  1/2 mile turn right down farm track, take
 bridleway into Haywood.
 Straight though haywood,  on road turn right.
 Follow road, then take first left turn towards lapworth. keep straight on
  for approx 2 miles, over canal and railway bridge. at point (6)
 take sharp right towards  packwood house.
 keep straight on until
 you reach the Main Warwick road again. 
Turn left  towards knowle.
 Straight though knowle over the M42 ,
 cross (8) dual carrage way down  
 lane towards whale tanker company, 
go around the outside of the building towards the 
  motorway and follow bridleway back towards the start point.
