USE Exposure LED Light Review

This is one really smart light. !!

Its very light small and compact,, requires no external wires (which is a massive advantage).

Mounts neatly on the handle bars. The battery is a LION rechargable unit and is inserted into the exposure unit by unscrewing the back plate of the light. The battery takes approx six hours to charge and gives a run time of approx 2.5 hrs on high beam and normal beam the run time is supposed to be 90hrs.

When your out on your own the light seems very bright, its a very narrow beam. so when navigating narrow singletrack you cannot see whats around the corner. when out with a group, who mainly had top of the line HID lights, it seemed very dim. riding in front of these guys was allmost impossible.

The exposure didnt provide enough light to fill my shadow.

The bar mount also needs to be a QR system, at the moment an allen key is required to mount and remove the light. if you have a couple of bikes this is a real pain. I really like the idea of no wires. its just so neat. the light can be easly mounted on a helmet if required. I have yet to try it out as a helmet light .

Despite a few niggles, this is the first generation of Super LED light and its very good. I tend to use it more for my own night spins down the lanes. and i am sure it will be great on the next Saab Saloman mountain mayhem !!

Bottom Line Wait for technology to improve in led lights.
