gonna be off the bike for a week or two, when i finished my early morning ride yesterday i was making a brew in the tent, and managed to spill half a litre of water on my foot! lost quite a bit skin.
Stings rather alot!

hmmm, feeling alot better today, just about able to walk on it.
Manged to squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze an SPD shoe on over all the bandages when the missus wasn't looking, but i thurt like feck and st's weeping a bit more now... :(
15 days to MM...... heal you bugger!

It will take ages to heal properly and then the skin will be weak and the slightest cut wont be pretty.

Ive got a scar on my right shin, i had a similar accident, was off work for 14 weeks, it was that bad the nurse passed out on the first day of changing the dressing for me. When ever i bike if i hit brambles or anything my left shin its just scratches my right just opens up and bleeds, best thing is to rest and don't try anything daft until the burn has healed. :smile:

Ouch, that looks nasty.

I know how you’re feeling though; I broke my collar bone on the DH run at the Chase on May 9th and can’t ride for 8 weeks - only another 4 weeks to go :(

all healed now, back on bike, was ableo to go well at mayhem, and back in training regime for 24 solo at sits, see
